How to mix your own scented putty

Follow these steps to create your first custom mash-up. Remember that the kit contains six scents, so you can experiment with different combinations across your four tins.

1. Choose your scent combination: Decide which two or more of the six scented putties you want to blend. You can mix just two for a simple combo or try three for a more complex scent.
2. Open the packets: Carefully tear open the packets of the scents you’ve chosen. You may want to squeeze the putty out onto a clean, non-stick surface like a plate or parchment paper.
3. Mash and knead: Combine the putties in your hands or on the surface. Squeeze, stretch, and knead until the colors and scents are thoroughly mixed. The more you knead, the more uniform the blend will be.
4. Transfer to a tin: Once mixed, roll the putty into a ball and press it into one of the four empty tins. Seal the lid to keep it fresh.
